International Rose Test Garden

International Rose Test Garden, Washington Park, Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon, USA. Established in 1917 of the International Rose Test Garden was due in part to the work of Jesse A. Currey who convinced city officials to institute a rose test garden to serve as a safe haven during World War I for hybrid roses grown in Europe.
