Sahalie Falls on the McKenzie River, Willamette National Forest, Linn County, Oregon, USA. Sahalie means "Heaven" in Chinook Jargon, a rudimentary trade language. 3,000 years ago thick flows of basaltic andesite lava dammed Clear Lake and moved into the McKenzie River creating the breathtaking waterfall.
